About Us:
webAI is pioneering the future of artificial intelligence by establishing the first distributed AI infrastructure dedicated to personalized AI. We recognize the evolving demands of a data-driven society for scalability and flexibility, and we firmly believe that the future of AI lies in distributed processing at the edge, bringing computation closer to the source of data generation. Our mission is to build a future where a company's valuable data and intellectual property remain entirely private, enabling the deployment of large-scale AI models directly on standard consumer hardware without compromising the information embedded within those models. We are developing an end-to-end platform that is secure, scalable, and fully under the control of our users, empowering enterprises with AI that understands their unique business. We are a team driven by truth, ownership, tenacity, and humility, and we seek individuals who resonate with these core values and are passionate about shaping the next generation of AI.
About the Role:
We are looking for a Capture Manager to work directly with the Head of Growth and executive team to build and own webAI’s end-to-end capture capability to turn shaped opportunities into wins.
Today, many defense tech companies rely on ad hoc, last-minute proposal efforts. webAI is taking a different approach: building a disciplined, repeatable capture system that increases win rates, improves efficiency, and scales with the business.
This role is not about writing proposals. It is about owning the strategy and system behind winning and helping us build the function.
Responsibilities:
Own capture strategy
Define win themes, competitive positioning, and pursuit strategy
Ensure alignment between customer needs, product capabilities, and proposal approach
Own the capture lifecycle from qualification to submission with clear timelines, milestones, and accountability
Help define which opportunities webAI should pursue and ensure focus on high-probability, high-impact efforts
Build repeatable systems
Develop and maintain reusable artifacts (past performance, quals, etc.)
Build playbooks for different contract types and pathways
Continuously refine approach based on outcomes and feedback
Qualifications:
5+ years’ experience in defense tech capture, BD, or proposal strategy
Experience across federal acquisition pathways (e.g., OTAs, FAR-based contracts)
Strong program management and cross-functional leadership skills
Excellent writing and storytelling ability
Ability to operate independently and own outcomes
Active US Security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain a US Security clearance
We at webAI are committed to living out the core values we have put in place as the foundation on which we operate as a team. We seek individuals who exemplify the following:
Truth - Emphasizing transparency and honesty in every interaction and decision.
Ownership - Taking full responsibility for one’s actions and decisions, demonstrating commitment to the success of our clients.
Tenacity - Persisting in the face of challenges and setbacks, continually striving for excellence and improvement.
