Role Overview

We're seeking a Staff Software Engineer with expertise in Rust, Python, and Go to join our core development team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in designing and implementing high-performance, distributed systems that enable AI execution on local infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and develop scalable, efficient systems for distributed AI execution
  • Lead the design and implementation of core libraries and frameworks in Rust, Python, and Go
  • Collaborate with AI and systems teams to optimize AI model deployment on diverse local infrastructures
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical direction of the company
  • Ensure code quality, performance, and reliability through rigorous testing and code reviews

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Expert-level proficiency in Rust and strong skills in Python and Go
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems, concurrent programming, and network protocols
  • Experience with AI/ML frameworks and deployment pipelines
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to optimize complex systems
  • Excellent communication skills and experience leading technical projects

Preferred Qualifications

  • Contributions to open-source projects, especially in the AI or distributed systems space
  • Experience with edge computing or on-device AI deployment
  • Familiarity with WebAssembly and its ecosystem
  • Knowledge of cryptography and privacy-preserving technologies
