You will...
- Lead bring-up, testing, and commissioning of Compute platforms on bench and trucks.
- Apply a first-principles approach to debugging network, firmware or hardware issues on compute.
- Interface with vendors to ensure testing compliance, address technical issues, and enhance test coverage, including vendor site visits as needed.
- Create automation to streamline testing for new compute platforms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrated hands-on experience in hardware design.
- Proven expertise in debugging compute hardware, including x86 and ARM architectures.
- Expert in using Altium.
- Open-minded and collaborative with willingness to help others.
- Excellent technical writing skills for effective communication and documentation.
- Passionate about self-driving technologies and solving hard problems.
Bonus / nice to have:
- Familiar with BIOS/UEFI firmware.
- Server design and deployment.
- Designed boards with PCIe, 10G ethernet, and GMSL.
The US yearly salary range for this role is: $151,000 - $266,000 USD in addition to competitive perks & benefits. Waabi (US) Inc.’s yearly salary ranges are determined based on several factors in accordance with the Company’s compensation practices. The salary base range is reflective of the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Note: The Company provides additional compensation for employees in this role, including equity incentive awards and an annual performance bonus.
