Responsibilities:

Architecting, building and delivering highly scalable, distributed, multi-tier high performance systems and services.
Partnering with product managers and translating business requirements into scalable, reusable and extensible design.
Ownership of product systems/services with responsibilities to ensure scalability, performance and feature match.
Estimating and planning development scope and issue prioritisation.
Performing code & design reviews.
Assessing latest technologies and proposing innovative solutions.
Development of complex parts of the application including building proof of concepts.
Mentoring and providing technical leadership to team members.

Qualifications:

12+ yrs of experience with development.
6+ yrs of experience of architecture & design of systems and services.
Direct experience or knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Java, J2EE, spring framework, hibernate/JPA
RDBMS, document based DBs
Messaging systems like RabbitMQ, Kafka, AWS SQS
REST APIs/services
