Responsibilities:
- Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Building & maintaining test automation framework from scratch for Frontend and Backend.
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Implement automation framework and/or reporting tooling enhancement for efficiency.
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Participate in architecture and design discussions
Qualifications:
- 4-7 experience years in automated testing and software development.
- Strong experience in testing and automating AngularJS based Web applications using Javascript, Jasmine, Protractor and WebDriverIO.
- Knowledge of advanced JavaScript libraries e.g ES6, typescript and frameworks such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, etc.
- Hands-on experience in test automation, building & maintaining test automation framework from scratch for Frontend and Backend.
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
- Knowledge on frontend/web application development.
- Familiarity with front-end build tools, such as Grunt and Gulp.js
- Experience in Performance Testing tools like JMeter
- Hands-on experience in Java development and/or automation
- Experience in dockers, selenoid and reporting frameworks/tools
- Knowledge of databases (SQL, MongoDB etc)
