About The Role

The Quality Technician must accurately execute all QC Standard operating procedures, Work instructions, and document inspection & test results to ensure our products & sub-assemblies satisfy all safety, performance, reliability and specific customer requirements. The Quality Technician will be responsible to participate in continuous improvement, auditing, lean manufacturing projects to improve efficiency, quality, and on time delivery. A high attention to detail, with the ability to perform mechanical and electrical measurement methods & techniques is required.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform QC "finished goods" inspection & test on Seegrid products which adequately cover technical, customer, and regulatory requirements. This includes accurately documenting the results.
  • Perform Supplier Component Inspections, First Article, Incoming QC, Non-conforming material inspections, Calibrations, and maintain records.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical, electrical design drawings and specifications.
  • Create ECN/ OPS/ QCD cases which accurately describe/ document a nonconformance finding with photos, log files, detailed measurements, etc.
  • Accurately Troubleshoot Products and equipment against procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum Associate's degree, or Technical school degree in: Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering, Electro-mechanical, or Electronics discipline.
  • Two years minimum experience in Electro-mechanical Product testing using software interface, Robotics Technology, Industrial Automation, or Engineering Technician.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office/Excel, Google workspace, ERP systems.
  • Basic Quality tool knowledge, lean manufacturing concepts and application.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Works well in both individual and team environments
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work in noisy and busy environments.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
  • 100% On-site position at Seegrid HQ location.
  • Occasional overtime and/ or weekend work (Saturday) may be required depending on shipping requirements.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Linux operating system command line experience is a strong plus
  • Understanding of verification and validation (V&V) methodology (procedures and test reports) is a plus.
  • IPC Certification and/or standards knowledge is a strong plus (PCBA & Wireharness).
