We are looking for a passionate sales leader to help build a world-class team. This role will directly impact the way ProducePay plans on disrupting the fresh produce marketplace. The ideal candidate will have a strong mix of sales leadership skills, strategic planning and data-driven execution, yet be comfortable getting hands dirty wherever needed. We are looking for an energetic Sales Manager with a strong finance background. You'll be actively prospecting growers, exporters, and distributors of fresh produce in Mexico supporting a team of sellers in the region.

As a Sales and business leader, you will need to build, manage and scale a global sales team. We expect you to effectively develop, motivate and lead through inspiration, mentorship, and a “results-driven” approach. You will be responsible for the overall performance of the team and the territory performance. This will require you to develop new sales tactics, and effectively collaborate with other functions to drive performance.


  • Manage the sales team pipeline and sales forecast who will be responsible for actively prospecting and selling to growers within their designated territory.
  • Develop key account acquisition strategy across marketplace segments.
  • Plan and execute the go-to-market strategy for new products in new regions.
  • Create a sales culture that is passionate to deliver on customer success, while achieving revenue goals.
  • Work closely with sales operations and marketing to build a pipeline that enables sales to achieve hyper-growth.
  • Ability to leverage tools to effectively manage data, analysis, and reporting in order to execute sales team priorities, deliver executive reporting and recommendations, and create strategies that optimize performance.
  • Execute a growth roadmap by constantly striving to improve metrics interpreting data, analyzing trends, and making recommendations.
  • Work collaboratively with technology, operations, customer success, and account management to ensure new customers are effectively onboarded.
  • Hire and retain a top-performing sales organization.
  • Build long-term relationships with prospects and clients through a consultative, expertise-driven sales process (e.g. engaging SMEs as needed).
  • Rapidly grow market share in a new territory by working assigned accounts from cold calling all the way to close - our most successful sales people excel at full cycle sales!
  • Develop referral partners and other channel partners in your territory through business development efforts.
  • Perform pre-qualification assessment and analysis of the financial condition and risk of financing requests.
  • Manage three--counterparty transactions (with many moving pieces) to completion by guiding clients through the contracting, due diligence, and transacting phases to a close.
  • Manage your territory through data, leveraging CRM and sales operations to supercharge sales efforts.
  • Travel as needed to meet growers and distributors face-to-face.
