Support various aspects of IT security, including cybersecurity operations, threat management, and security best practices. Under the guidance of experienced IT security professionals, you will assist in implementing security measures, analyzing security incidents, and contributing to the organization's overall cybersecurity posture.

Responsibilities

Cybersecurity Monitoring and Incident Response:

• Assist in monitoring security alerts and logs from various security tools and systems.
• Help investigate and analyze security incidents to identify the source and impact of potential security breaches. Contribute to the incident response process to contain and remediate security incidents.

Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing: Learn to conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on the organization's IT infrastructure and applications. Assist in identifying and assessing security weaknesses and collaborating with relevant teams to address them.

Security Controls Implementation: Work with the IT security team to implement security controls, policies, and procedures to protect the organization's systems and data. Learn about various security technologies and their role in securing the IT environment.

Security Awareness and Training: Participate in security awareness initiatives to educate employees about cybersecurity best practices and threats. Assist in developing training materials and resources to promote a security-conscious culture.

Special Projects and Learning Opportunities: Engage in special IT security projects or initiatives, providing support and gaining exposure to various cybersecurity domains. Use the internship as an opportunity to learn about specific areas of interest within IT security, with guidance from the IT security team

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of computer networks, operating systems, and cybersecurity principles is advantageous.
• Enthusiasm for learning about cybersecurity and a strong interest in pursuing a career in the field.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to contribute to security incident investigations.
