We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Leader to build and manage Pivot Bio’s success on a defined regional basis. As a key member of our Commercial team this role will be responsible for leading the regional sales efforts, employee development, and channel partners management while also bringing timely on-the-ground perspective about product supply management and achievement of contribution margin targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Territory Sales Managers to achieve company and individual goals.
  • Analyze and communicate market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and capture synergies for continuous improvement.
  • Organize and coordinate cross functional alignment between other key business groups (i.e. Commercial Agronomy, Product Development, Finance, Marketing, Communications and Manufacturing/Supply Chain).
  • Creation, management, and implementation of a 2–5-year business planning, forecasting and budget management process.
  • Foster strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring rep satisfaction and grower retention.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in agriculture sector with 5+ years of people management
  • Strong understanding of financial aspects of an organization, marketing strategy, effective forecasting methods, ag inputs, and diverse application practices, including in-furrow and seed treatment processes.
  • Customer oriented, with a demonstrated ability to respect and earn the respect of industry leaders and channel partners.
  • Demonstrated track record of effective working relationships with channel partners.
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter, reliable and able to work independently
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 60% within assigned area.

All remote positions and those not located in our Berkeley facility are paid based on National Benchmark data. Following employment, growth beyond the hiring range is possible based on performance.
