About the Role:
We are looking for a Principal Global Commodity Manager to own the commercial strategy for our most critical active components: RF Modules, Integrated Circuits (ICs), and Memory. In this role, you will not just "buy parts." You will be the commercial architect of our product roadmap. You will serve as the primary interface between Engineering, Finance, and the external supply base, ensuring we select technologies that are not only high-performance but commercially viable and scalable. You will drive "Landed Cost" accuracy, champion supply resilience, and build a preferred supplier network that gives our engineers a competitive edge.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and publish comprehensive Sourcing Strategy Decks for RF, IC, and Memory categories, outlining technology roadmaps, supply landscape, and cost trends.
- Establish and maintain a Preferred Vendor List (AVL) to guide Engineering toward strategic partners, reducing rogue spend and design-in risks.
- Drive aggressive cost reductions through a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) approach.
- Act as the "Engineer’s Ally": Embed with design teams during the concept phase to influence component selection before the BOM is frozen.
- Host internal "Sourcing Forums" and Supplier Tech Days (e.g., Mini-CES) to bring supplier innovation directly to our engineering teams.
- Bridge the gap between technical requirements and commercial reality, ensuring new designs utilize components with long-term lifecycle support.
- Drive Contract Coverage (MSA/Supply Agreements) for top strategic suppliers to secure capacity and legal protection.
What We're Looking For:
- 7+ years of experiences in sourcing and supply chain management, with a focus on RF Modules, Integrated Circuits (ICs), and Memory for consumer electronics, automotive or related industries
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, business administration, or a related field required; Master's Degree preferred
- Demonstrated negotiation skills and proven experience in contract management
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive strategic decisions
- Experience with global supplier management and working in cross-functional teams
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and resolve conflicts
- Demonstrated success in driving supplier innovation and achieving significant cost reductions preferred
- Knowledge of international trade compliance and tariff regulations preferred
