About the Role:

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager specializing in Competitive Intelligence at Motive, you will be an analytical powerhouse with a keen ability to derive actionable insights and to deeply integrate with our sales teams and competitive marketing campaigns. This role requires a blend of technical proficiency, market awareness, strategic thinking, and sales acumen to drive effective product positioning and enablement strategies that combat competitive pressures and enhance our market positioning.

What You'll Do:

  • Conduct deep-dive analysis into competitors’ strategies, product offerings, sales tactics, and market presence.
  • Develop and maintain a competitive intelligence framework and deliver regular updates to key stakeholders.
  • Create competitive battlecards, sales playbooks, and training materials to empower the sales team with effective counter-strategies.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to gather on-the-ground competitive insights and integrate findings into broader market analysis.
  • Lead competitive marketing campaigns, highlighting our strengths and differentiators in direct comparison to competitors.
  • Work closely with Product Management to influence the product roadmap based on competitive gaps and opportunities.
  • Analyze sales patterns, customer feedback, and market trends to identify new sales enablement opportunities.
  • Design and implement metrics to measure the effectiveness of competitive strategies and adjust tactics in real-time to optimize sales outcomes.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning within the sales teams, ensuring they are up-to-date with the latest competitive insights.
  • Partner with Marketing Communications to refine messaging that resonates with our target audience and undermines competitor claims.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing or competitive intelligence, preferably within the tech or SaaS industry.
  • Demonstrated experience working closely with sales teams and developing impactful sales enablement tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of driving insights from data.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex information in a clear and persuasive manner.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional initiatives and working with senior management.
  • Agile and able to adapt quickly to shifting market dynamics and organizational priorities.
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales enablement software, as well as competitive intelligence tools.

Pay Transparency
Your compensation may be based on several factors, including education, work experience, and certifications. For certain roles, total compensation may include restricted stock units. The base compensation range for this role is:
$128,000$173,300 USD
