About the Role:

The Inventory and Imaging Specialist role combines technical and administrative responsibilities. In this position, your primary responsibilities will involve overseeing IT logistics, which includes managing device disposal, imaging, and initial configuration. This position is critical to maintaining SOX compliance. You will also be responsible for maintaining and organizing our IT inventory, including ordering supplies.

In this role, you will collaborate with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient IT operations. Additionally, you will provide tier 1 ticket support as required, addressing inquiries and assistance requests both in person and electronically.

This is a strictly on-site position in Nashville. This is a full time role M-F 9 am-6 pm.

What You'll Do:

  • Maintain accurate records of all IT equipment and assets, including computers, servers, networking devices, software licenses, and peripherals.

  • Conduct regular physical audits and reconcile inventory discrepancies.

  • Monitor stock levels and initiate procurement requests as needed.

  • Assign and track IT assets to employees or departments.

  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory database with asset details, including serial numbers, purchase dates, and warranty information.

  • Coordinate with vendors for the procurement of IT equipment

  • Ship out laptops domestically and internationally.

  • Manage relationships with suppliers and ensure timely deliveries.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive asset lifecycle management process, including asset retirement and disposal.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations for asset disposal.

  • Create and maintain documentation related to inventory procedures, asset allocation, and equipment specifications.

  • Generate reports on inventory status and usage for management review.

  • Collaborate with the IT team to provide hardware and software resources as needed.

  • Assist in troubleshooting inventory-related issues and resolving them promptly.

  • Learn our systems and provide back-up support with tier 1 tickets during high volume times

What We're Looking For:

  • 3+ years experience in a shipping and logistics role

  • Strong understanding of IT equipment and technologies

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills

  • Proficiency in using inventory management software tools

  • Extreme attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively

  • The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively when needed

  • Someone who is excited about solving problems and has a proactive mindset

  • Understanding of SOX and Soc2 Compliance

  • This is a strictly on-site, hourly position in Nashville. This is a full time role M-F 9 am-6 pm.

The base compensation range for this role is:
$48,260$60,953 USD
