Software Engineering Intern, Full Stack Applications (Summer 2025)

We are looking for highly engaged and self-driven students to join Locus Robotics as a Software Engineering Intern on our Business Software Team. This US remote based summer internship provides the opportunity to collaborate with our Software Engineers to enhance the UI and backend functionality of our robotic application interface. You’ll get practical, hands-on experience in both frontend and backend development while working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This summer internship offers flexibility, with remote, onsite, or hybrid options at our Wilmington, MA office. Candidates across the US are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of cloud-based and self-hosted SaaS products.
- Write and test code for both frontend and backend components.
- Collaborate with UX designers and developers to implement new features.
- Contribute to integration, system, and performance testing.
- Support QA testing on the floor, ensuring system functionality and performance in real-world environments.
- Participate in software design and architecture discussions.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a related degree program (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering) and have completed at least your sophomore year, or a recent graduate within one year of graduation.
- Prior internship or academic project experience with C# and .NET programming.
- Prior project experience with web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic UI frameworks (React, Angular, etc.).
- Proficient English written and verbal communication skills required to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
- Availability to work remotely, hybrid, or onsite Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, at our Wilmington, MA office.
