About the Role:

Motive is seeking an experienced Sr Web Product Manager, eCommerce to join our high performing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and managing eCommerce programs, as well as developing self-service revenue focused user experiences for high growth enterprise SaaS companies. This role will be responsible for defining the eCommerce roadmap and strategy, with a view towards expansion within our current base and self-serve, and new customer acquisition. This includes defining the roadmap, prioritizing capabilities, and leading cross functional teams to deliver a high quality user centric experience that drives growth.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and execute a strategy and build the roadmap for our ecommerce platform and self service tools that align with the company's overall business objectives and goals.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, marketing, product, sales, customer service, and finance to ensure successful programs.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify customer needs and market trends, and leverage this information to inform the development of our eCommerce platform
  • Identify revenue opportunities for new self-service programs and tools, ensuring ease of use for customers and ongoing value for the business
  • Collaborate with web design to create intuitive and user-friendly experiences
  • Use data to make informed decisions for ongoing optimization to hit program KPIs
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on ecommerce and related self-service tooling

What We're Looking For:

  • 7+ years of experience in ecommerce with a focus on SaaS and B2B, with a strong track record of success in driving business results
  • Experience developing and managing self-service products and programs
  • Experience using data and insights to inform requirements, ideas, and strategies with hands-on experience with web tools including CMS, A/B testing tools, site analytics and other business intelligence tools.
  • Adept at leading hypothesis-driven A/B tests, experiment design, and running experiments at scale.
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce best practices, including site optimization, conversion rate optimization, and UX design
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from strategy to execution.
  • An owner mentality: You take pride in your work and view what you do as a part-owner and builder of the growth we are working towards.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Pay Transparency
Your compensation may be based on several factors, including education, work experience, and certifications. For certain roles, total compensation may include restricted stock units. The compensation range for this position will depend on where you reside. Motive uses three geographic zones to determine pay range. For this role, the compensation ranges are:
San Francisco, California
$144,000$198,000 USD
U.S. metropolitan areas: Los Angeles, San Diego, New York City Area, Seattle, Washington D.C.
$130,000$178,000 USD
Other locations in the United States
$115,000$158,000 USD
