At Fictiv, we’re building a company that is developing the operating system for sourcing custom mechanical parts. We already enjoy manufacturing and delivering highly complex, high-quality parts for our Fortune 500 customers who are building the future with products like autonomous electric vehicles, surgical systems, and industrial robots. As we expand the scope of services to our customer base in alignment with their needs, we are looking for an experienced and adept leader with exceptional skill and experience in developing world-class custom mechanical manufacturing & supply chain operations.

In your role as the Head of Operations (North America Support), you’ll be the de facto leader of our North America Support team office in Bangalore, ensuring that the team has the proper infrastructure (facilities, policies, etc) and culture in place to allow for them to do the best work of their careers, all the while managing the budget for the office in alignment with the needs of the business. Additionally, you’ll also be acting as business partner to Executive leaders who oversee our North America support team, providing administrative support and driving strategic projects.

In this role, you’ll work US business hours and you’ll directly report to Fictiv’s Sr. Director of People and dotted line report into the General Manager, USA.

What You’ll Be Doing

Executive Support

  • Act as a strategic advisor to the leadership team, providing insights and recommendations for improving operations.
  • Provide administrative & executive support for executives in the US, including calendar management, strategic project governance, event organizing, etc.
  • Act as the office leader and "right hand" to the executive team, providing detailed support on sensitive matters and ensuring alignment in decision-making.

Office Operational Oversight:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring smooth operation and effective management of company resources.
  • Ensure that transportation and facilities are properly managed in alignment with the needs of the business and North America Support team.
  • Ensure daily operations align with company policies, values and culture

Internal Communications:

  • Serve as a key point of contact between senior executives and employees, ensuring clear and timely communication.
  • Draft and disseminate internal communications, such as updates on company or office policies, objectives, and initiatives.

Problem-Solving & Decision Support:

  • Act as point of escalation and final decision maker for office related issues based on the data, available resources, and business needs.

Budgeting & Financial Management:

  • Oversee budget management for office operations, ensuring spending aligns with financial goals.
  • Manage resource allocation, ensuring cost control while maintaining operational efficiency.

Stakeholder & Change Management:

  • Foster relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring strong partnerships and effective collaboration
  • Lead change initiatives within the office, ensuring that all stakeholders are engaged and informed during transitions.
  • Manage the impact of organizational changes on employees, supporting them through transitions to maintain productivity and morale.

Desired Traits

  • Leadership and people management skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with experience handling multiple projects at once.
  • High-level strategic thinking, capable of identifying opportunities and risks.
  • Excellent communication, both in writing and in presentations.
  • Experience in resource management and financial oversight.

This role typically requires someone who is highly organized, a good communicator, and able to manage multiple projects and teams at once. They act as a trusted partner to senior leadership while ensuring that the office runs smoothly and efficiently.
