Impact In This Role

Fictiv Mexico is seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to oversee its expanding financial, accounting, and tax management needs. This role is critical in maintaining robust internal controls, ensuring timely transaction handling, accurate financial reporting, and regulatory compliance across finance, accounting, and taxation. This is a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves job which will also require handling payroll.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own Fictiv Mexico’s general ledger and financial reporting.

- Ensure statutory compliance in bookkeeping, reporting, and taxation.

- Manage cash and foreign exchange processes.

- Optimize transactional structure and enhance workflow for both local and cross-border accounting and payment processes.

- Prepare, review, and manage payroll.

- Review, approve, and pay local vendors.

- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.

- Advise and enforce corporate policy with local staff.

- Develop and enforce compliance around order fulfillment and processing in our ERP software for customer purchases.

- Respond to inquiries from the main office regarding financial results, special reporting requests, and more.

Qualifications:

- BA/BS in Business with an emphasis in Accounting; CPA and/or MBA preferred.

- Ideal candidates will have 7-10 years of experience in financial reporting/general ledger.

- Extensive experience in cost accounting and inventory accounting.

- Previous experience in a product or manufacturing firm and/or multinational company is preferred.

- Proven leadership skills in managing responsibilities.

- Experience working with business and tax authorities.

- Expertise in developing written processes and procedures, and training finance and cross-functional team members.

- Extremely hands-on and detail-oriented; willing to jump in wherever needed.

- Ability to grow with the region’s expanding responsibilities.

- Proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently.

- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.

- Comfortable working across time zones (US headquarters located in San Francisco).

- Strong business English verbal and written communication skills.
