Impact In This Role

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Corrective Action Request (CAR) administration Review CARs generated by Fictiv’s proprietary Workbench system and assign them to Fictiv’s US manufacturing partners (MPs) or to internal Fictiv employees. Track progress with all MP CARs to ensure responsiveness performance measures are met. Respond to any MP questions related to their CARs. Sanitize MP responses for use in Customer Scorecards. (US SQEs are responsible for ensuring the content of the MP’s CARS are robust)
  • Data analysis Support US SQEs by providing data analysis regarding MP performance
  • Coverage for US SQEs Provide coverage for US SQEs when they are on travel or otherwise away from work
  • Provide support to QC Inspector(s) supporting the US from Bangalore Answer queries that the QC Inspector might have regarding the inspection of parts, either by direct response or by seeking answers from subject matter experts in the US
  • Supporting Fictiv’s industry-leading on-time, in-full (OTIF) performance You will play a critical part in improving Fictiv’s performance by ensuring MP performance is improved and sustained
  • Continual improvement Collaborate with colleagues in India and the US on improving business processes to increase efficiency and effectivity
  • Other tasks assigned by the US SQEs

Desired Background & Traits

  • A minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience (preferably in quality assurance)
  • A minimum of 3 years working US business hours
  • Experience with 3D printed, CNC machined, injection molded, and sheet metal fabricated parts, including finishes
  • Excellent English reading and writing skills, cross-culture communication skill
  • Strong structured problem solving skills and data analysis capabilities
  • Self-starter, manages time efficiently, able to complete work in a timely manner without active supervision
  • Passionate about continuously improving and learning
