This role is based onsite at our Redwood City, CA office.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the functional team responsible for ensuring the quality of Carbon’s hardware & accessories products
• Build systems to proactively monitor field and production data to identify systemic trends which could indicate quality issues
• Develop and maintain quality control plans for parts and products
• Address quality issues that arise through efficient containment, detailed root cause investigations, and cross functional collaboration to ensure implementation of corrective actions
• Collaborate with R&D on new development projects to ensure quality requirements are input into product requirements

Requirements:

• BS or MS in relevant engineering discipline
• 7+ years work experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience leading a team of engineers
• Ability to work in a fast paced, globally minded environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Skills:

• Quickbase, JMP, Statistical Process Control
• Familiarity with Quality System standards such as ISO 9001

Preferred Qualifications:

• Formal training in problem solving techniques
• Experience working with and managing quality at contract manufacturers
• Demonstrated progression of increasing responsibility throughout career

At Carbon, we look at the person holistically and carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation. The pay range for this position is $152,800.00 - $229,200.00. Your actual salary will be based on your experience, work location, certifications and the unique skills you bring to the role.
