Collaborate with hardware engineering and design teams to identify potential risks and implement mitigation plans early in the development process. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions for hardware failures.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure all hardware products comply with relevant industry and regulatory standards (e.g., CE, FCC, RoHS, Hazardous Locations, etc.). Partner with external testing labs and certification bodies as needed.
  • Supplier Quality Management: Work with the supply chain team to evaluate and audit hardware suppliers to ensure adherence to quality standards – this will include quarterly on-site visits to Ohio-based CMs. Develop and maintain supplier quality agreements and monitor supplier performance.
  • Continuous Improvement: Analyze quality data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Implement industry best practices for hardware QA, leveraging insights from existing trends and industry standards. Will provide monthly status reports of QMS progress.
