What is the role?
You will be responsible forleading a small team that bringscutting-edge technology solutions to the cooperative and municipality-owned industry in North America as they seek to achieve their reliability and sustainability goals in the face of an increasingly adverse climate. This is a hands-on role giving you an opportunity to coach and lead a team, while spending time in front of customers yourself.
Ultimately your success will be measured by the success of your team achieving ARR goals with the expectation of doubling every year, as we have done the prior four years.
What will you do?
•Lead and motivate a small team of sales managers, setting clear expectations and providing
ongoing coaching and development opportunities to achieve hypergrowth sales goals.
•Maintain a culture of high performance and accountability that embraces collaboration.
•Train and onboard new sales managers effectively and efficiently.
•Manage the sales pipeline, forecasting revenue and ensuring efficient deal progression.
•Proactively and continuously assess opportunities for improving sales efficiency.
•Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, demand generation, customer
success, and product to serve customers well and grow our business.
•Achieve an annual team-level quota with the expectation of doubling every year. In
addition, your team will partner with Customer Success to renew and expand our footprint
with current clients.
•Travel 30% - 40% of the time.
What are we looking for?
•Strong performance management, motivation, and coaching skills.
•Consultative approach to understand customer’s business, goals, and challenges and how to
partner with them to use our technology to achieve their business outcomes.
•Deep understanding of the sales motion required to win technical and complex deals as well
as using sales processes like MEDDPICC to do so.•Ability to plan and execute at a strategic and operational level.
•Agility to thrive in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment.

•Strong team player, comfortable working with cross-functional internal and external teams.

•2+ years of sales team leadership experience.
•5+ years of sales experience in selling 5 and 6 figure enterprise SaaS products to asset-
intensive industries. Utility industry experience is a plus, but not a requirement.
•Track record of hitting or beating quota.
