What’s the role?
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior/Lead System Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of hands-on support engineering experience and possess a deep understanding of maintaining Windows and macOS laptops, as well as Windows and Linux servers. The role will involve installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various operating systems, software, and network infrastructure. The successful candidate will also be responsible for monitoring firewalls, ensuring office internet connectivity, managing tech assets, and resolving network issues. This position requires strong knowledge of IPv4 addressing, NATting, firewall maintenance, VPN, SSL, and Outlook configuration. Additionally, familiarity with CCTV cameras, biometric devices, and backup systems is preferred. The candidate should thrive in a startup environment and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

What will you do?

  • Install and maintain Windows 10/11 operating systems and macOS on laptops.
  • Perform installation and maintenance of Windows and Linux servers.
  • Configure and troubleshoot basic and developer software.
  • Monitor firewall activity and ensure its proper functioning.
  • Collaborate with the office internet service provider to ensure seamless connectivity.
  • Manage tech assets including laptops and monitors.
  • Troubleshoot all IPv4 network issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Investigate and resolve VPN connectivity issues.
  • Configure Outlook email accounts and troubleshoot related issues.
  • Oversee CCTV cameras, biometric devices, and backup systems.
  • Provide guidance and support on networking concepts.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

What are we looking for?

  • 10-15 years of hands-on support engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in maintaining Windows and macOS laptops.
  • Strong understanding of Windows and Linux server maintenance.
  • Knowledgeable about Windows OS installation and configuration.
  • Familiarity with IPv4 addressing and NATting.
  • Experience in firewall maintenance and monitoring.
  • Understanding of VPN and SSL technologies.
  • Proficient in Outlook configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Prior exposure to CCTV cameras, biometric devices, and backup systems is desirable.
  • Ability to thrive in a startup environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
