What’s the role?
The Business Development Specialist will generate new opportunities for revenue through outbound prospecting efforts. As a vital contributor to the continued growth of AiDash, the Business Development Specialist will work closely with both the Sales and Marketing teams to break into key accounts and new markets.

What will you do?

  • The Business Development Specialist will generate new opportunities for revenue through outbound prospecting efforts.
  • Engaging in high daily sales activity for targeted campaigns.
  • Generating interest and leads through outbound cold calling, emailing and social media outreach.
  • Converting marketing leads (leads generated by marketing) to sales opportunities.
  • Discovering the 'customers’/prospects’ business initiatives and acting as an AiDash advocate. Building a point of view on how to help qualify customers' needs.
  • Speaking to value and return on investment vs. technical functionality.
  • Building credibility and trust with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Learning how to anticipate and prepare for objections.
  • Demonstrating adaptability and flexibility as part of an ever-growing sales organisation.
  • Managing a high volume of accounts with a strategy on prioritisation of your accounts and time. Researching and understanding various lines of business and personas.

What are we looking for?

  • 2-4 years of professional sales experience in selling SaaS products.
  • Experience cold calling and emailing companies for greenfield or whitespace opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills. Should know English and nice to have at least one other European language. (German, Norwegian, Dutch, Swedish, Finnish or Spanish)
  • Consistent quota attainment and achievement of KPIs


  • Location: Currently Working from Home. We are looking for an office in Central London (Close to Waterloo, Southbank Area). Flexible Work from Home policy depending on the outcomes and performance
  • Growth Potential: Successful people can move into field sales / Customer Success Manager roles in about two years’ time. We are a fast growth start-up and ample opportunities will be present as we continue our growth path.
  • Who will I work with: You will be reporting to VP of Sales Operations based in the USA. and working closely with the VP of Sales Operations in the USA (All our SDRs report to him currently). You will work closely with the local team based in London (Director of Business Development, EMEA and VP- EMEA) who are based in London. You will also work closely with the Market Research and Data building team based in India.
